Use Case

After negotiation and pre-configuration with Linkage, SIM cards with specific data plans can select and lock the local network operator in designated regions.

Prerequisites

The enterprise to which the API key belongs must be the same as the enterprise to which the SIM card belongs.

The SIM card status must be "In Service".

The SIM card's current data plan must support this operation. (For details, please consult Linkage support staff.)

Notes

The operation is processed asynchronously. A successful synchronous response from the API indicates that the Linkage system has successfully received the request.

Ways to get the asynchronous processing result:

Use the request_id from the API response header to query the processing result via Query Asynchronous Processing Result.

Obtain the result through a notification API callback (pending).

Before the asynchronous operation is complete, the card will be in a locked state. During this time, operations such as activation, deactivation, reactivation, and reset are prohibited for the same SIM.

The asynchronous process usually completes within a few seconds. However, if anomalies such as network congestion occur in the operator's system, the processing time may extend to tens of minutes or even longer.

If the asynchronous operation fails, the user can initiate the operation again.
